Bloom is a health & wellness event that began in 2012 with an aim to educate and spread the key message of prevention. Much emphasis today is placed on ‘finding the cure’ rather than preventing illness in the first place. Lifestyle diseases such as heart disease, some cancers, Type 2 diabetes, arthritis, depression and obesity can all be prevented or even reversed through simple lifestyle changes.
According to the holistic medicine philosophy we all have an innate capacity to heal and achieve optimal health by having balance in life (physical, emotional, spiritual). Once we start restoring our health we also start restoring the health of the planet.
Bloom’s mission is to empower people to take charge of their health by sharing information on preventative measures so that we can make informed choices on what we eat, how we live and the products we use.
We aim to educate, inspire and empower our community, whether attendees are avid health nuts, at the beginning of their wellness journey or yet to be inspired, we aim to plant the seeds, share the goodness and make a difference to peoples’ lives and the planet.

Our team of advisors have created a criteria to ensure that the values of prospective businesses align with those of Bloom. This ensures the integrity of the event, which is demonstrated by the high quality and standard of information presented on the day. This has been widely acknowledged by attendees and is what makes Bloom a stand out event.
Each year we select a charity that aligns with our core message, in an aim to raise awareness and some funds towards some fantastic initiatives that are encouraging change. Bloom has raised in total over $3000 for the following charities:-
2017 – Days For Girls International
Every month, millions of women and girls miss school and work because they lack something essential: feminine hygiene supplies. Days for Girls is an international non-profit dedicated to giving back days of education and opportunity through providing through providing lasting access to feminine hygiene solutions and health education. Since 2008, Days for Girls has reached over 640,000 women and girls in over 100 countries.
2016 – Mindd Foundation
MINDD Foundation promotes an integrative approach to healthcare for the whole family with a focus on paediatric disorders such as Autism, ADHD, Asthma, allergies, chronic illness, learning and language delay, and digestive and behavioural disorders. Research is showing that these children are coming from families with a history of brain-immuno-gut disorders such as allergies, digestive disorders, anxiety and depression.
2014 – Nutrition Plus
Nutrition Plus aims to assist in improving the health of Australian Indigenous Children, their families and their communities through improved nutrition and education. This is achieved through providing funding and assistance to build school gardens and educate kids on growing, harvesting and using their produce, provide education on good nutrition and fitness and supplementation.
2013 – COUCH Wellness Centre
The proposed centre will be available to all cancer sufferers and their carers, with room and scope to build accommodation and ancillary services. Proposed services include counselling, exercise, mind therapies, diet & nutrition, massage, acupuncture and more.
2012 – Breast Cancer Fund
The Breast Cancer Fund is a charitable organisation with a goal to stop breast cancer before it starts. They focus on prevention working to identify the environmental causes of breast cancer, and to prevent the disease by educating women, changing policy and spreading the word.
